If Apple leaks anything about a new product, it's usually to the AllThingsD tech website. And the latest leak there is about the much-heralded iPad Mini (or iPod Touch Maxi).
AllThingsD is quoting "several sources" saying the launch event for the new tablet will be in October, following the unveiling of the next-generation iPhone expected on September 12.
To be honest, that's what almost everyone thought would happen. But it seems it's now all but confirmed.
