It seems Motorola has a hit on its hands with the new Droid X smartphone.Unofficial figures say more than 300,000 of the Android devices were sold in The States in the first two weeks after its launch.
Motorola has been swiping at Apple's iPhone 4 antennagate issue in its Droid X ads with slogans like "No Jacket Required".
Could it be that antennagate coupled with stock shortage of the iPhone 4 is driving buyers to other smartphone manufacturers?
Unofficial sources say the Droid's sales figures have surprised Motorola and could spark more ads knocking the iPhone 4.
