Apple has announced it'll provide a live video stream of its Special Media Event on its website on Wednesday.It's not the first time Steve Jobs has been broadcast live, but it hasn't happened for some time.
Interestingly, the stream will only be broadcast in a format that can be watched on a Mac computer, an iPhone, an iPod Touch or an iPad.
It seems likely Apple is doing this to show its servers can handle large video demand worldwide. It'll be a good promo for the start of a proper Apple TV video streaming service.
