Apple Admits Another Mistake - This Time Privately

There's been an increasing outcry from users of the newly-released Macbook Air laptops that their screens keep flickering.

Well, Boy Genius Report says it's got hold of an internal Apple support memo which admits there is a problem with the company's flagship devices - both the 11" and 13" models.

The memo says Apple is aware of the problem and is working on a fix. In the meantime, support staff are being advised to tell complaining customers to close their laptops, wait 10 seconds and then open them again. Although, the memo admits the problem needs a permanent fix with a software update.

Earlier this week, Apple agreed there was a problem with the iPhone software that caused repeat alarms to go off at the wrong time after Daylight Saving clock changes.
