Apple "Antennagate" Executive Gets Another Job

The Apple executive who left the company in the wake of the iPhone 4 "antennagate" affair has found himself another job.

Mark Papermaster has joined the multi-national Cisco electronics and communication company, according to the Wall Street Journal.

"Antennagate" caused Apple huge embarrasment and forced CEO Steve Jobs to take to the stage at a hastily-arranged press conference and announce that every iPhone 4 owner would be given a free case for their device.

The iPhone 4 has a wrap-around metal antenna and, when the phone is held, it can affect signal reception.

It was Steve Jobs himself who coined the word "antennagate".

Mark Papermaster, 49, was in charge of the iPhone 4's hardware design. He left the company not long after his boss's humiliating news conference.
