Apple Sends Out Reminders to Developers That iOS4.2 Is Imminent

Apple has sent out an email reminder to app developers that the release for iOS4.2 is imminent.

The operating system update, expected sometime in November, will be for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches.  The email says:


"iOS 4.2 will soon be in the hands of millions of customers around the world. Make sure that your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch apps incorporate all the exciting features in iOS 4.2, including:
Multitasking – Multitasking services allow your apps to perform tasks in the background including playing audio, push notifications, receiving location change events, and more.
Game Center – With the Game Kit API, you can implement Game Center functionality such as submitting and displaying achievements, scores, and leaderboards, and establishing multiplayer games.
AirPrint – iOS 4.2 allows you to easily enable instant wireless printing from your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch apps.
Submit Your Apps Today"

As a 15 year old male I've some stupid decisions company's have made but apple tops the list for the most dumbest company ever i have ever seen. First of all apple purposely made iOS4 and higher updates non compatible with the iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch 2G. They have been sued for ibricking the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G so apple customs will get really angry forcing the iPhone 3G to purchase the iPhone 4 and for iPod customers will get angry and purchase the iPod 3G then they release the iPod 4 which they make even more money. Then apple promises to release 4.2 by the 7th due to daylight savings in other countries then promised us either between the 9th and 12th and now they saying it could get released any time that could be late this month. Im really glad got sued about the ibricking and yet more people are opening law suits against apple. I am a iPod touch 32Gb 3G, I've never owned any other apple idevice expect for my iPod 3G. Apple need to get there act together, just childish.

I agree bud. Apple need pulling down a peg or two or three. They survive by blagging their way thro like with antenagate. Well said.
