Apple is this week expected to announce the brands its partnered with to launch iAds in Europe, according to the Financial Times.iAds are the company's much trumpeted new way of showing advertising on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The ads will be selectable from inside apps and Apple promises a full interactive, multi-media experience. Making adverts fun again, according to Steve Jobs.
But it's been a rocky road. iAds have been launched in the US leaving many advertisers unhappy, claiming high prices and slow production and distribution times. Apple insists on keeping tight overall control on the content of the adverts.
The Financial Times says the European launch has been delayed twice so far and has even been prepared to lower its $1m minimum spend.
