Friendly Cleans Up In Facebook No-go Area

Facebook has an iPhone app.  But it doesn't have its own app for the iPad.

As Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg famously said: "The iPad isn't mobile".

Of course, you can use the Facebook app on an iPad, but only by stretching it to fill the bigger screen and it looks crap, or you can struggle with the web version like Mr Zukerberg says we should.

There's one app that's tried to fill the iPad gap. Friendly for Facebook costs 59p/99c and does a good job.
Apparently it has more than 500,000 active users.

Now Friendly for Facebook is offering two apps - the paid one and a free one.  The free app has ads and is called Friendly for Facebook.  The paid app has no ads and is now called Friendly Plus for Facebook.

Looks like Friendly is cleaning up where Facebook won't go.

Here's the link for the free Friendly.
