Google has introduced a neat new tweak to its Gmail service.
If you accidentally delete a contact - and we've all done that - you can now restore it. You can go back up to 30 days.
It's especially useful if you sync your Google contacts with other address books and find some have mysteriously disappeared.
It good to see that Google is putting to practical use some of that info on us it stores.
Now...restoring permanently deleted emails would be a good next step.
