Apple is planning to launch an app store for its Macs - desktops and laptops. And the latest word is the launch day could be December 13.
It will work in much the same way as the app stores for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches.
It's thought Apple was hoping for a date in early December, but hasn't been able to get through the workload of app approval fast enough.
The company is scheduled to hold a news event on December 9, where an iOS4.3 update could be announced, giving an in-app newspaper and magazine subscription service to iDevice users. It could just be that Apple will also name the day for the Mac app store.
