Mobile network, Vodafone UK, has released figures showing that the UK's multi-media messaging is flourishing in the Arctic weather.
More than 750,000 MMS photos were sent by Vodafone customers on December 1 - up 63% - with most being sent between 6am and Noon.
Calls were up 17% and text messaging up 15% - no doubt people calling work to say they couldn't get in.
