UK Network 3 Beats iPad-On-Contract Rivals

Hot on the heals of the Orange and T-Mobile offering, UK mobile network 3 is also now selling iPads on contract.

And, as long as you're happy with 3's network coverage, it's a better deal.

The 3 prices are the same up-front cost as Orange - £199 for the basic 16GB WiFi and 3G model, going up to £349 for the 64GB device.

And it's also insisting you sign a two-year contract at £25-a-month, but what you get for that monthly payment is much better than Orange.

3 will give you 15GB a month data allowance, compared to Orange's 1GB plus another 1GB during "quiet time" midnight to 4pm.

You will miss out on free use of BT Openzone WiFi hotspots with 3, but, hey 15GB is a lot of data.

Here's a link to the 3 website.
