The Apple App Store is about to hit ten-billion downloads. That's 10,000,000,000. And that's a lot of apps.
There are now more than 300,000 apps in the store, which opened its doors in the summer of 2008.
To celebrate, Apple is going to give away $10,000 to the person who downloads the ten-billionth app. Well, not in cash, but in the form of an iTunes gift card. Bloody big gift card!
