At last...it seems Apple is about to drop its extortionate "restocking free" for returned goods.If you buy something at an Apple Store you have 14 days to return it...no questions asked. BUT Apple will keep 10% of the purchase price as a ridiculous "restocking fee" - even if the good are unused and unopened.
It's now reported that this easy-way-of-making-money-without-doing-anything will be scrapped from tomorrow, January 11.
About time.
