As predicted, the floodgates have opened at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, throwing out a flood of new tablet computers.
Latest company to go with the flow is Asus. It's announced a 7" tablet, the Asus Eee Pad MeMo, running Android OS and firmly taking on the successful Samsung Galaxy Tab.
It's also going to sell the Eee Slate, a 12.1" device running Windows 7.
And there's the Eee Pad Transformer, with a 10.1" screen, which can be docked with a keyboard turning it into a netbook.
And...deep breath...the Eee Pad Slider, a tablet with a slide-out keypad.
All the new Asus devices have Wifi connection and dual cameras.
