Facebook has withdrawn a feature that would allow other websites to see users mobile phone numbers and addresses.
In its blog, Facebook say the new feature has been put on "temporary hold". Good thing too. Security experts have warned that it would be ripe for information harvesting from rogue app developers.
A good example is the app that most people on Facebook have come across that says it will tell you who's been looking at your profile. It's a scam and no app is capable of doing that.
