The Guardian has been having a closer look at RIM's Blackberry PlayBook tablet. It's a 7" screen device and RIM says it plans to start selling it in Q1 this year, which means quite soon.
The interesting thing about the PlayBook is it doesn't run on Google's Android operating system like the dozens of other tablets shown at CES. It runs on something called QNX, which RIM has all to itself.
So...no word on price. And there are reports that the PlayBook will have to be linked with a Blackberry phone to send and receive emails. Now THAT would be a killer - in the bad sense of the word.
