One of the major reasons for jailbreaking an iPhone is to install different themes that can make your device look different. Themes can completely customise the look of your phone, including icons, lockscreen and much more.
The only way to do that at the moment is to download new themes from the Cydia App Store on jailbroken devices.
The trouble with this is the system is a mess. There are hundreds of themes in the Cydia store, some paid-for and some free. But some are incomplete...some don't work on certain iOS versions...and some just don't work at all.
Even worse, finding a theme you like is a nightmare. You have to sift through all the offerings and hope they have screenshots - many don't.
Let's hope this will change tomorrow. An app called ThemeIt is due to be released in Cydia that will become a theme store on its own. It promises easy navigation around theme catagories and easy installation.
