Motorola Unveils "World Fastest Smartphone"

Motorola has taken the wraps off what it calls "the most powerful smartphone in the world".

It's the Motorola Atrix and it was demoed at  CES in Las Vegas.

The Atrix runs Android OS with a dual-core Tegra 2 processor running at 2GHz total and 1GB RAM. It also has 16GB built-in storage and fingerprint-recognition unlocking.

But it's the accessories that really set it apart. You can get a laptop dock, which essentially turns the phone into a laptop running Android 3.0, and also another dock to connect it to a monitor or TV.

Motorola says the Atrix will be available on Orange UK "very soon" as well as in the United States. The company has been flaying around a little in the smartphone market recently.  It's hoping that doubling the processing power to 2GHz will give it an opening back in. All really depends on how much this smartphone will cost and how much those accessories will set you back.
