T-Mobile Cuts Customers' Mobile Data Bundles

UK network T-Mobile is slashing its mobile data bundles to a "fair usage cap" of 500MB from February 1. And it's for existing customers as well a new customers.

The company's bundles were 1-3GB.  It says it still won't charge you more or cut you off if you go over the limit....but it will throttle your connection, meaning you can surf but you won't be able to download or stream.


Here's what T-Mobile's announcement says:

So remember our Mobile Broadband and internet on your phone service is best used for browsing which means looking at your favorite websites like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, BBC News and more, checking your email and looking for information, but not watching videos or downloading files. 


The move has caused anger from T-Mobile customers, with many posting protests on mobile phone forums.
