A video has appeared on YouTube from a company called Global Direct Parts that claims to have a prototype of the planned iPhone 5.
The video compares the outer casing and some innards with the current iPhone 4.
If it's genuine, both phones look remarkably similar to me, indicating the iPhone 5 will simply be a souped up 4.
One difference is the aluminium side band on one side of the "iPhone 5" does not have a groove which could mean Apple has changed the external antenna design to get rid of the Antennagate problem.
Update: As you'll see, this video has been withdrawn by YouTube at the request of Apple. Looks increasingly like it could have been genuine. Here's a screengrab showing the difference in the side aluminium case.
