Apple has cut the price of the original iPad by up to £120 as it gets ready to ship the iPad 2.
The basic 16GB, Wi-Fi only device now costs £329, a drop of £100. The top-of-the-range 64GB, WiFi and 3G model is down to £579, a drop of £120.
The price drops are happening worldwide. In the US, models have been cut by $100.
The iPad 2 is due to go on sale in the US on March 11, and the rest of the world on March 25, and will be priced at the same original prices as its predecessor.
