Apple Gives Refund If You've Just Bough An iPad

Apple has slashed the price of the original iPad to clear stock ready for the iPad 2 later this month. Savings in the UK stretch from £100 for the lowest specs to £120 for the top-of-the-range.

But what if you've been living under a stone, didn't realise a new model was on its way and have just bought a new old iPad.

Well, Apple is giving refunds. If you bought an iPad within the past 14 days, you can take a receipt into an Apple store and they'll give you dosh back.

It's not quite as generous as it first sounds. Don't forget Apple have a 14-day no quibble returns policy. So you could just return the iPad you bought, and buy another one at the reduced price.

Saves the hassle, though.
