It's reported Apple is planning to hold a media event in April to launch its next iDevice operating system, iOS5, and a revamped MobileMe service.
The report comes from a German website, macerkopf, which says it's been told the event will be at Apple HQ in Cupertino, California, around the middle of April.
The timing is about right for Apple to show off its next iOS update. And a revamp of MobileMe has been on the cards for some time. At the moment, MobileMe is a subscription syncing service from Apple to keep your contacts and calendar in sync over multiple devices. It's thought MobileMe could become a free service and even include cloud storage for music and video.
