Microsoft search engine, Bing, tweeted that it would donate up to $100,000 to the Japan earthquake appeal - but only give $1 for every retweet of its message.
And quite rightly, it's caused an outcry from Twitter users.
This is a classic example of big business getting it completely wrong when trying to manipulate social networking.
Let's hope Microsoft runs away with its tail between its legs to the nearest donation box.
