Research In Motion has confirmed its Blackberry PlayBook tablet will go on sale on April 19 in the US and Cananda.
And prices will exactly match those of the newly-released iPad 2.
The Blackberry offering is smaller than the iPad 2 with a 7" screen vs. 9.7".
The 16GB version will go on sale at $499, up to $699 for the 64GB version.
RIM says the PlayBook will be on sale in all Best Buy stores in the US and Canada as well as Future Shop stores in Canada.
