Tone FXs is an app for jailbroken iPhones that lets you customse your device alert tones. And it's just been updated to include more customisation.
It lets you choose different ringtones, SMS and email alerts as well as most other tones your iPhone uses.
You can also select specific tones for individuals in your address book.
There's a free companion PC application - ToneFXscreator that lets you create tones and transfer them to your phone.
ToneFXs 2.0 costs $4.99 in the Cydia app store, but it does have a free trial. If you've already purchased ToneFxs 1.0, the upgrade costs $1.99.
