It's reported US network Verizon will start shipping its first 4G phone - the HTC Thunderbolt - on March 17.
The 1GHz Snapdragon processor powered device will run on the network's new "super-fast" LTE system.
MobileCrunch says retailer Wirefly has confirmed pre-orders are starting today with first deliveries on the 17th.
