The We7 streaming music service is launching an iPhone app that will load your device with enough music to keep you going even without a data connection.
The UK company, backed by singer-musician Peter Gabriel, released an Android app today and the iPhone will follow next month.
You sign up, choose your playlist and the app will suck in music using your home or office WiFi connection. The longer you leave it, the more music there'll be. The company hopes it will be taken up by streaming radio users fed up of stuttering output on 3G or worried about their data allowance.
The app will be free with ads or a Spotify-style Premium ad-free subscription for £9.99 a month.
Here's the We7 Press Release.
