Analysts say Apple has now knocked Nokia off top spot as the world's largest mobile phone vendor by revenue.
It comes after Apple announced yet more record figures with profits up 95% for the first three months of this year.
Research firm Strategy Analytics says:
"With strong volumes and high wholesale prices, the PC vendor has successfully captured revenue leadership of the total handset market in less than four years,"It says Apple's revenue from the iPhone rose to $11.9-billion in the last quarter, while Nokia's phone revenue slipped to $9.4-billion.
