New figures show Apple's iOS is way ahead of Google's Android when all media devices are taken into account.
The figures for the US show Apple has a 16.2% share with the iPhone, iPad, iPod and iPod Touch. This compares with Android's 10.2% share on similar devices.
There are nearly 37.9-million iOS powered devices in the US and nearly 23.8-million Android-powered.
Android still has a substantial lead over Apple on smartphones with other media devices taken out of the calculation.
