Are there really people who've been holding out for nearly a year for the delayed white iPhone 4? Suppose there are.
Well, start sweating and heavy breathing because here's more evidence that the unicorn of smartphones looks likely to become a reality very soon.
It's a shot of Verizon's inventory sheet in the states sent to 9to5mac and shows what looks like two new iPhone 4 models - the white iPhone 4 in 16GB and 32GB.
Speculation seems to be homing in on April 26, but please don't hold us to that! And don't expect a fanfare: word has it the white device will simply go live on the Apple website and quietly start appearing in retail stores.
It's being seen as a bit of a stopgap after reports that an iPhone 5 announcement won't be coming anytime soon. If it stocks to previous releases, Apple should launch the 5 this summer, but it's looking increasingly like autumn.
