The Onion Launches iPad App

The American satirical newspaper and website, The Onion, has launched an iPad app.

It's free and supported by advertising and it joins the organisations's already-established iPhone app.

It's fairly multi-media, with the occasional video, and downloading a new issue can take some time.

This is the official iPad application of The Onion, America's Finest News Source. It is the last bastion of unbiased, reliable, and definitive news in a world dominated by superficiality, mediocrity, and non-Onion news outlets.
Now, using the latest news-providing technologies, The Onion introduces a format that allows you to touch the news. That’s right. Swipe it, poke it, berate it, and it reacts accordingly.
