The legal battle between Apple and Samsung has taken a new twist with the Korean tech giant counter-suing over alleged copyright infringements.
The litigation started earlier this week when Apple started suing Samsung alleging it copied the iPhone and the iPad with Galaxy S smartphone and Galaxy Tab slate.
Now Reuters is reporting that Samsung has filed a lawsuit claiming Apple's iPhone and iPad infringe 10 of its own patents. These include patents on power management and 3G and WiFi technology.
Legal battles in the mobile technology industry are not uncommon and let's not forget Apple is Samsung's second biggest customer for components. So the more iPhones and iPads that are sold, the more money Samsung makes.
