Time Warner Cable has cut a third of its channel offering on its newly-launched iPad app.
It follows legal threats from the programme makers that the US cable company doesn't have the right to stream the channels onto the app.
Fox, Viacom and Discovery have all complained. Time Warner says in a statement:
[F]or the time being, we have decided to focus our iPad efforts on those enlightened programmers who understand the benefit and importance of allowing our subscribers – and their viewers – to watch their programming on any screen in their homes.Follow IJSMblog on Twitter and Facebook
