An untethered jailbreak for the latest iOS4.3.1 is ready for release...and it's scheduled to be made public today, Sunday April 3.
It's thought it will be released by the iPhone Dev Team as an update to the Redsn0w jailbreak on Windows and Pwnage Tool for Mac users.
It will jailbreak all devices - EXCEPT THE NEW iPAD 2.
The new jailbreak uses an exploit found by hacker i0n1c. Confirmation of the release on Sunday (ie Funday) came from Dev Team member MuscleNerd:
So that's Sunday US time...could span Monday UK time.
Please note: this is for jailbreaking your iDevice, not unlocking it to use on any network.
