Here's a turn up for the books. Amazon's new Cloud Player now works on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The web-based music player was launched in the US last month. It allows users to store music on its servers and access it on devices with an internet connection. At launch, it failed to work with Apple iOS devices, but now it does,
Visit the Amazon Cloud Player website on your iOS device Safari browser. You'll get a warning page saying your browser is not supported. Ignore that and click onto your music. It works. Your music will even pause if you get an incoming call or message.
Amazon is giving users 5GB of on-line music storage free. This can be upgraded to 20GB on subscription or by buying just one album from the Amazon music download store.
