It's reported that Google will today announce its long-awaited cloud music storage service.
It'll initially be called "Music Beta by Google" and could be by invitation only. It will let users store 20,000 tracks in a cloud locker for free. Users will be able to access their music on any PC, laptop or Android device.
It'll be cross-platform, so for example any playlists created will be accessible with different devices.
There's been no mention of accessibility from Apple iOS products - iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
Amazon has already launched a cloud music locker service - which works with iOS devices - and Apple is expected to announce a similar move with iTunes next month.
