Update: RecognizeMe is now live in the Cydia App Store priced at $6.99.
An app will be launched soon to let you unlock your jailbroken iPhone using face recognition.
RecognizeMe will give you two options to unlock - the standard code method and face scanning.
You will teach your phone your face by letting it take multiple photos and when you unlock, it will scan your face and , if it matches, let it unlock. Obviously, it will need a device with a front-facing camera, like the iPhone 4 and you can set security from low to high. The learning process for high will take much longer.
I'm not sure I'd trust it totally at the moment to secure my iPhone, but it's a great start and well done to the dev.
It's believed Apple is working on face recognition technology, although there's no news of when it may be introduced to iOS devices.
RecognizeMe is expected to cost $6.99 for the first three weeks after launch, and $9.99 after that.
