Next iPhone "Will Be iPhone 4S - With Minor Changes"

A respected industry analyst says he's been tipped off that the next iPhone will only have "minor changes" and will be called the 4S and not the iPhone 5.

Jeffries analyst Peter Misek says "industry checks" indicate the new model will "include minor cosmetic changes, better cameras, A5 dual-core processor and HSPA+ support".

That means it will be faster in operation and connection.

Misek also claims the new device will support T-Mobile and Sprint in the US as well as AT&T and Verizon.

He says Apple wanted to update to the faster 4G data connection, but the chips won't be ready in time. So Cupertino has decided to produce a souped-up iPhone 4 and wait for a major update to iPhone 5.
