RIM's new Blackberry PlayBook tablet is to get an official Facebook app. RIM says it will be released sometime this month.
The PlayBook will be the first tablet to have a dedicated official Facebook app. iPad owners have to make do with third-party offerings, or run the iPhone app doubled up on the iPad.
Last year, Facebook founder Mark Zukerberg famously said there was no mobile Facebook app for the iPad because the iPad is not mobile.
It seems Facebook is seeing the error of its ways. Let's hope they get round to apps for all tablets soon.
