Researchers in Germany say they've discovered that Android mobile devices can easily be hacked to give access to users' passwords and other log-in details.
They say the operating system is open to hacking when users connect on an unencrypted WiFi network.
The exploit lays open stored log-in data - known as Tokens - to such sites as Facebook and Twitter and also Google applications like contacts and calendar.
The researchers, from Ulm University, say the vulnerability affects all Android users who haven't updated to the new Gingerbread 2.3.4 version of the OS - and that's 99% of Android users.
