The beleaguered Sony PlayStation Network has crashed just hours after it was relaunched.
The network went live in some areas yesterday, following nearly a month off-line when it was the victim of a hacking attack that saw millions of users details being stolen.
But demand was to large at relaunch, Sony had to take parts of it down again. And guess what was causing the problem? Not surprisingly, it was users wanting to change their passwords and we don't blame them. Sony used Twitter to announce the problem:
"We're expereiencing (sic) a heavy load of password resets and will be turning off the services for 30 minutes to clear the queue".Makes you wonder. If Sony can't cope, who can?
