Apple has started selling unlocked version of the iPhone 4 for the first time in the US.
The devices are now live on the US on-line Apple Store and will also be sold in its chain of retail shops.
A 16 GB version is selling for $649 and a 32GB version for $747 - and both are available in black or white with a 1-3 day shipping time.
It's the first time unlocked iPhone have been sold in the US. In other countries - including the UK - it's common practice.
