iOS5 Beta OTA Update Fails For Jailbreakers

Jailbreakers have been barred by Apple from using Over The Air updating for a new iOS5 beta version just released.

The release of iOS5 beta 4 is the first time Apple has used OTA operating system updates.  But iPhone Dev Team member, MuscleNerd, has tweeted that the OTA update won't work on jailbroken iDevices.

modmyi says it appears the OTA update sniffs out jailbreak folders on devices.

So, it seems like OTA won't be the way for jailbreakers to go...until a workaround is found.
