After all the toing-and-froing over the leaking of JailbreakMe for the iPad 2, it seems the official jailbreak is about to be released.
www.jailbreakme.com has changed to an image of the Apple Store's famous "We'll be back soon" sign.
JailbreakMe developer, Comex, has tweeted he expects to release the jailbreak - the first for the iPad 2 - on Tuesday. So it looks like today is the day.
It's a very simple jailbreak. Just head to the JailbreakMe link and download a PDF file. Your device will be jailbroken with the Cydia app store installed.
We'll keep you up to date.
Update: Comex has tweeted that JailbreakMe - when it's released - will only work on iOS4.3.3. So, if you're on an earlier iOS, better update now ready for the release.
