The jailbreakme.com domain is up for sale. That's the website where we all expect the next iOS jailbreak - particularly for the iPad 2 - to be posted by creator Comex.
But the site is now listed on domain registrar GoDaddy's list of sites for auction. At the time of writing, it had reached $2,500 - as you can see from the screenshot above. If you fancy bidding...or at least keep a check on the price...here's the GoDaddy link.
It was only yesterday that the next JailbreakMe jailbreak was leaked onto the web, a move which it's known angered Comex. It was taken down within hours.
Now, we're not sure that it's Comex who owns the web domain, but if it is it's a strange move to try to sell it. And if it isn't...well, it's still strange.
Update: Comex has tweeted that he doesn't own the site:
So who does? And, to be honest, do we care? Comex can put his JailbreakMe jailbreak on any site.
