TubeTap Makes It Easy To Claim Refunds On London Underground Delays





Here's a good app if you use London Tube.  It makes it easy to claim for delayed journeys.

Transport for London says it will refund fares if "your train is delayed by more than 15 minutes, for reasons within our control".

When you get on a train, you tap in your starting station and the app gives you a journey time.  Then, when you reach your destination, you tap again and the app will tell you if you've been delayed. If you have, you just tap again to send a claim to TfL.

TubeTap costs 69p in the Apple App Store.

It seems that many people either don’t know about the refund system or they simply never get ’round to submitting their application, and this is a problem that TubeTap hopes to solve.

I love this little app, downloaded it two days ago, now I don’t have to worry about losing money when getting delayed on the tube. I like how it tells you the journey times, that's helpful even if you don’t get delayed. Amazing app, 5 stars!
