US network Verizon has confirmed the prices of its new tiered data plans. It's scrapping unlimited usage and replacing it with four monthly data add-ons:
- $10 for 75MB
- $30 for 2GB
- $50 for 5GB
- $80 for 10GB
If you go over your limit, there'll be an extra charge of $10 per GB. The new charges come into effect for new customers on Thursday, July 7. Existing customers will have to go onto the new rates when they renew their contract - say when the new iPhone 5 comes out.
