The New Yorker magazine has released a new iPhone app. But unlike the publication's iPad app, Goings On is free and is devoted to listings in the city.
Sections comprise cinema, theatre and other arts and entertainment.
Users can sort entries by category, date and location. It also includes a few audio tour guides of New York and you can share content using Twitter, Four Square and Facebook.
